Welcome to our farmstay retreat! We provide year-round, simple and comfortable accommodation. Our main building offers two large bedrooms with dorm-style accommodation, four washrooms equipped with showers, a kitchen, and a dining area. There is a small reading nook. Each bedroom is equipped with one double/single bunk and one single bunk. Each room can accommodate five people.
Your sleep is important to us!
We spend many hours of our life on our mattress. That’s why we feel it’s important to provide you with comfortable and non-toxic mattresses and bedding. Our mattresses are made with natural rubber latex, with an organic cotton and wool covering. Our bedding and towels are certified organic. Our duvets and wool blankets are all produced from sheep and alpaca wool from Ontario farm businesses. Wool is a natural material that helps to regulate body temperature, keeping you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter!
On-site Store and Service Shop
We have an on-site store where we sell a small selection of cycling supplies, and rent bicycles and snowshoes. Our service shop is available to guests for basic maintenance and repairs.
When you stay with us, you have the option of adding an all-inclusive meal package to your stay for groups of four or more. Our meals are based on using whole, nutritious foods. We use as many vegetables, fruits, and herbs from our farm as possible to create your dining experience, according to the season. We also use other local products, such as honey, maple syrup, wild-crafted goods, and more, and we purchase organically produced goods first, if available. We can accommodate most dietary preferences. Contact us for adding a meal package to your stay.
Environmentally Conscious Building & Products
Whenever possible during our building phase, we opted for more environmentally friendly products to help conserve energy, reduce waste, and reduce indoor off-gassing. Our building is created with ICF construction. While ICF is not a green building material, it is extremely energy efficient. Other eco-friendly aspects to our construction include zero VOC paint, natural wall plasters, featured fiberglass windows, FSC certified wood, and organic mattresses, linens, and towels.
In addition to comfortable beds and delicious food, recharge by visiting our gardens or using our on-site trails year-round, whether it be by foot, snowshoe, or fat bike, or simply curl up with a book and enjoy the scenery. In the evenings, take advantage of the cards and board games provided in the dining area for some competitive fun!
