We are excited to announce that we will be at the 2019 Silvergoose C2 and Pan-American Cyclocross Championships this November, as sponsors of the event (We even get a BRONZE sponsor bage - woohoo!). How can we make the event more intriguing? Well, a weekend stay at Missing Link Adventure Tours will be on the line for the top Ontario Junior finishers during the PanAm Championship race.
A great venue and event with a special place in our hearts, the Silvergoose was the first CX race that we brought some of our Almaguin cycling friends to and was the draw for incredible riders to be in our area, leading to Michael van den Ham staying with us leading up to the 2019 event (we are fans!). Last year Rob had the chance to see the races from the pits while supporting MVDH and the Garneau-Eastion p/b Transitions Lifecare Team. The 2019 races and crowd were electric, with head-to-head racing all day and two thrilling Elite events, with Michael coming second in a sprint to Cannondale's Curtis White, and Maghalie Rochette evening up the weekend with a win over Ellen Noble, who was fitting back from a late race crash, but ran out of road.
